Opensee offers instant Big Data analytics solutions for financial institutions, with the goal of allowing business users to independently analyse data on a scale and level of detail never seen before. This enables optimization of risk management, trade execution, regulatory reporting, and more.
Opensee was founded in 2015 by senior banking executives and Big Data technology experts. Since then, we have experienced significant commercial success, with deployment in multiple Tier 1 financial institutions for critical use cases. To foster our growth, we have more than doubled our headcount since 2020 and are now expanding to London, New York, and Singapore.

What are you going to do? 

Opensee has so far been available to clients through a Windows application, with numerous functionalities. We are now rapidly developing a web UI to help us get to the next stage:
* We are accelerating our transition to a SaaS offering
* Our clients increasingly want the simplicity of a web UI deployment vs. going through the security and authorisation hoops of a heavy client deployment.
* Opensee’s end users want the same intuitive user experience in their professional tools that they have in their personal life.


Our challenge is to provide services to clients who are highly educated and financially literate, and we approach the UX design with this perspective in mind. The Web UI team is diverse, including developers, UI experts and experienced business users who have worked extensively in the banking sector.

The goal of the internship is to have a positive business influence on the evolution of UX/UI:
* As a member of the UX/UI governance team, you will be responsible for benchmarking other web data solutions, whether financial-oriented or generic.
* Your task is to identify the best UX ideas and present them to the governance team.
* You will also get acquainted with web development packages


 
About you

Ideally, you are a first or second year Business school student, who has strong interest in Finance and Tech. Alternatively, you are an Engineer school with a strong business mindset.
You must have a good knowledge of Figma.

Language skills: Fluent in English both written and verbal is imperative, French is a plus. Spanish is a nice to have.


Working conditions 

* 4 to 6 month internship (convention de stage mandatory)
* Location : Paris
