Votre mission

ADECCO MONACO recruiting a HR CREW ASSISTANT for a permanent contract for a yachting company.
 
The position:
To work with the Yacht Management department to ensure year-round continuity of service to the Fleet Managers, Captains and Crew. Maintain all seafarer’s documentation, to issue related contracts, certificates and correspondence and to liaise with all Crew Employers, Payroll personnel as required.
Direct contact with Captains / crew;
Entry and updating of personal details, next of Kin and certification expiry dates
Maintain and manage all crew certificates for vessels responsible for ensuring they are valid for the position on board including CoC verification when candidates are not proposed by C&N in liaison with the Fleet Manager (and ISM/ISPS manager as needed) using the HR Crew database;
Safe manning adherence verification with the HR Crew database;
Assist crew visas and applications whenever necessary;
Assisting in issuance of Seafarers Employment Agreements and payroll;
Applying for Endorsements, Dispensations, T&S, addendum letters and other formal correspondence;
Working closely with independent crew employment companies;

Your profile :


3 years of experience in a similar position
Good working relationships with Captain’s, crew and owners/owner’s representatives where required;
Good working knowledge of employment conditions ;
Good working knowledge of STCW, MLC and Yacht Codes;
The ability to communicate effectively in writing with Captains, crew and, Flag States and /or any other department; 
A good working knowledge of the crew qualifications required;
Fluent in English (written and verbal);
Good Level of IT literacy with Microsoft Office;
Higher Education degree preferably in HR;
 
You are flexible and adaptable, you have ability to handle pressure during an emergency, ability to prioritise, send your cv !
